Some short thoughts about the T.Dot (actually Ontario)

- I couldn't live there (just hearing on the radio that the 401 is delayed because there are animal parts on the road, doesn't seem right ... not right at all)

- Those African Lion Safari commercials I keep seeing on Satellite TV, really made me want to go (as long as I'm not driving my own car), monkeys can really mess up your cars trim

- evidently I was there for a little bit of history. Last week was the latest that they have ever had smog alerts. Hooray!

- How come highway signs say the exit number first and the city second (if at all). I'm sure that there is some kind of high-falooting reason for this, but I don't like it

I'm a Superstar

NO, NO to be entirely correct that would be TV Star!

Yes Open Homes (on Global's PrimeTV) has decided that my home is in desperate need of some work (and I whole heartedly agree)

I don't have a lot of details, but it looks like we are shooting on October 28th

More details as I get 'em!

Wish me luck

Global TV's Open Homes was looking for single guys with condo's to come in and do apprx $1500.xx worth of renovation in one day to show how much a little bit of work/money can increase the value of your home prior to selling

So they came by today, and wandered through my place to see if it was suitable for for this episode (They are looking to do a stereotypical 'spruce up a bachelor pad' type of show.
So I think finally all my hard work of little to no housework, stylelish design accents like a way too big screen TV, and more DVD, CD's and Video Games then one person truly needs is finally going to pay off

I think my Baby-Blue & White bedroom may have sealed it for me (yikes eh! ... in my defense I didn't paint this -- 'course I haven't unpainted it in the almost two years I been here)

They are scouting more locations today and tomorrow, but are on a pretty tight timeframe, so I should know by Tuesday

Fleshy Underbelly

Well the Calgary Sports & Social club summer season has come to any end, and my co-ed flag football season has come to an end. We (Fleshy Underbelly) won our last playoff game!!!
So we finished ... 5th.

The Team

We finished 6th in the regular season, and since only the top four teams are the only ones that have a chance to compete for the league championship 5th was the best we could do. I think this is the first time since I've been playing that my team hasn't finished in the top four so that was a little disappointing, but as always a good time.
Heather even subbed for a couple of times this year, and she caught the winning touchdown on our last play to give us the win for 5th place ... she's a superstar!
